About the Artist: Kelly Jo Kuchar studied art at Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas. She started making ceramics in 1988, moved to Albuquerque in 1990, and she and her husband Matt built a full-time business from her ceramic art talents beginning in 1994. "I see each shape as a blank canvas, ready to be painted," says Kelly Jo.
