Ruana is an American-Spanish word for woolen garment and is also used to describe a poncho-like garment, open in front, often worn as a wrap or shawl. Our beautiful ruanas are handmade from soft, mid-weight fleece in Santa Fe, New Mexico. Available in vibrant patterns and colors, these wraps add flair to any wardrobe!
There are several ways to wear a ruana: loose and open in front, a front panel draped over one shoulder, both front panels tossed over the shoulders, pinned at one shoulder with a bold jewelry pin...so many possibilities!
